Inspiring Feeling

I do not have and live a perfect life. There are many things I need to accomplish to file out my lacking spaces. Therefore, I keep hunting and seeking for opportunities. I always set the goals and make my dreams; therefore, I have energy to open my eyes and keep working hard consistently. Becoming to this stage, I have failed many times and every time I fail, it hurts a lot. To make myself feeling better and continue fighting, I tell myself, I will get something a lot of better than this failed one. It always needs time to cure and make your feeling calm. 

It is a happiness feeling when you can contribute your knowledge and inspire people to work hard in order to have a bright life. I spent my weekend in sharing young women (mostly they are in 3rd year of their university) Human Rights and Women and life experience how to fight with your passion and goals.

Meeting and talking to them made me think of my life when I was their ages and situation. I was concerned what I would be in the future. How could I get a good job and earn good salary to support my life. When I got a job, I would be capable to work and complete the requirement tasks. They look unconfident with their knowledge and hesitate to show their talent and potential. To me, I can see their bright eyes, they are smart and potential in their carrier in the future. I am sure they will do good job in the future. 

An unconfident feeling can be with us when we are growing up in a poor family. We are mentally and physically lack of support and encouragement from the family. The society judge people good or bad by their appearance, dressing expensive dress and using expensive materials. A poor students are uncomfortable to have friends or speak out freely in class because they keep thinking they are poor, no one want to be closed with them, they have dark skin, ugly face, smell not good because they do not have body soak to clean themselves, their clothes are old and dirty because we do not have money to buy new one etc.

Visiting Phu Quoc Island (Koh Tral)

I traveled to Phu Quoc Island with my family during year-end 2018. We bought round trip ticket, Phnom Penh-Phu Quoc, from Champa Mekong Express and it cost USD 52 for a person. It took around 3 hours and 30 minutes to travel from Phnom Penh to Prek Chak International Border Check Point and Ha Tien Border Crossing (Cambodian-Vietnamese border). The express company had a guide to assist us to get our passport stamped for both Cambodian and Vietnamese border crossing authorities. It took us around 2 hours to wait for passport crossing border permission and walk from Cambodia to Vietnamese territory. When we received our passports from the guide, a van picked us up and brought us to Ha Tien Ferry Terminal, around 15 minutes from Ha Tien crossing border. Sok Yi, SRENG was born on 28 July 2000 in Kampong Cham province, Cambodia. She is the only daughter among the other three sons in the family who graduated from high school since 2018. Her parents are rice farmers. Her father studied only in grade 5 and her mother was in grade 7. Her older brother (21) studied until grade 8, he stopped studying and is currently working as a construction worker in his hometown. Her younger brother (17) stopped studying when he was in grade 7 and currently works in Phnom Penh City. Her youngest brother (14) is currently in grade 7 and, from time to time, he wants to stop studying to earn money to support his family.   Sok Yi comes to visit Royal University of Phnom Penh Her family does not have money to send her to continue higher education in Phnom Penh.
